Weddings

I conduct non-denominational, secular services as licensed by the Registrar General of the Province of Ontario as a member of the Ontario Humanist Society. 

While our weddings do not use religious language, we are respectful of your cultural and family traditions. Your wedding will reinforce your commitment and love for each other as equal partners in this next stage of your lives together.

Meeting with your wedding Officiant to plan your wedding service is necessary to be sure that your wishes are being met. This is included in your fee.

You will want to make sure that you are comfortable with the person who will preside over your wedding ceremony or significant anniversary vow renewals.

Ethical Standards:

The Ontario Humanist Society (OHS) strives to honour the public trust in Humanist Officiants by establishing regulations for ethical practice as described in these Professional Standards.  These standards, which define professional expectations, are binding on Humanist Officiants, and enforced by the Ceremonies Committee, a committee of the Board of Directors of the Ontario Humanist Society.
